It has been a great couple of weeks in Australia. My posts are a little out of order, but I think the pictures are the most important part. The first one is of the house we are renting. The yard is about as green as it is going to get the rest of the year!!! The spider is completely harmless but big enough to make a grown man jump out of his sandals. Also below is a picture of the first kangaroo we found hoping around a local vineyard. The owner of the winery was kind enough to take us out in his ute to find kangaroos. We saw five total, but this one (and if you look closely you can see the Joey in her pouch) was the closest and best for photos. Finally we stopped at Lock 11 in Mildura to watch a boat pass through. IT has been a lot of fun. This weekend we attended Manangatag Cup Day (Horse Racing) I would describe it like the Kentucky Derby coming to a town of 500 people. Fancy dresses, big hats, suits, and all the beer you can drink. I'll have pictures for you soon. Oh yeah, I did bet, and won!!!!! Take care!!
